Can’t make it to a Community Crafter event, but are interested in lending a hand? Ask about our take-away projects that can be done at home or in the Library during a free period.
We always need a helping hand in the Junior Reading Room and there are lots of ways to help.
Do you like to take pictures?
We are always looking for someone to take pictures at our Library events and programs.
Do you like to play with kids?
We hold various special events through out the year and during the summer. At these events we need helping hands to run play stations. In the past these have included: spin art, bubble blowing, play dough and face painting.
Do you like to listen to music?
Bring your Ipod to the Junior Reading Room and listen to your favorite songs as you lend a hand cleaning and organizing our many collections.
We work with The Coalition for Community Service and The Career Development Center to help you earn credit for the service you provide.
